Der Springende Punkt- Deutschlandradio Kultur / ORF Klangkunst

Der Springende Punkt is a continuously changing radio piece, a restless entanglement with the world and time, composed of excerpts from radio documents from the archives of Deutschlandradio and ORF. Rosa Barba and Jan St. Werner have made a selection of literary contributions, music, jingles, interviews and presentations and made them available to an AI as source material. The computer rearranges the sounds in real time and combines them into new compositions. The material is constantly condensed through new juxtapositions, revivals of our memories and cultural productions over time. The composition is created as part of the KONTINUUM series by Deutschlandfunk Kultur and ORF Sound Art.
