Conversely Yours is a traveling sound piece performed by a wooden loudspeaker with two oddly adjusted membranes. The object can be placed temporarily in any space, in any orientation. The sounds unfold in an infinitely randomized sequence and, in coexistence with their environment, create one continuous piece. Conversely Yours can be placed in a private or public space, commenting on, emphasizing, or coinciding with the acoustic events of its surroundings. The object has no preferred position; its membranes may face upwards, downwards, toward walls, or openings. The absence of symmetry means that there is no perfect or correct angle or position. Conversely Yours doesn’t belong but coexists; it has no destination but temporary locations.
